MYRON LIEBERMAN

PRINCIPAL, CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER & FOUNDER

MHE’s principal, Myron Lieberman, founded MHE in 1968 and since that time has acquired, developed and managed in excess of $500 million of multi-family, commercial, office and industrial real estate. MHE’s conglomerate spans throughout Southern California, Arizona, Nevada, Texas, Oregon, Washington, and North Carolina.

Mr. Lieberman began his real estate career in 1968 by building and managing a chain of private preschools in Southern California and Southern Nevada, which his son continues to manage so that Mr. Lieberman can focus on real estate holdings. By 1978, Mr. Lieberman constructed over 40 custom homes, numerous industrial buildings and strip malls, and personally managed a portfolio of 500 apartments units. Mr. Lieberman has experienced multiple market cycles including the RTC days of the early 1990s.

Mr. Lieberman has extensive experience turning around troubled properties and creating value through management and capital investment of properties in all market cycles. He takes great personal pride in all projects and continues to personally oversee all assets.

Mr. Lieberman holds a J.D. and regularly works with the California Bar Association’s Dispute Resolution Center to mediate lawsuits. In addition, Mr. Lieberman donates time and money to the Jewish Federation of Los Angeles and has personally facilitated a successful micro-loan program.

NATE AKIVA

Mr. Akiva joined MHE Real Estate in mid-2008 after practicing law for five years with the prominent real estate law firm Pircher, Nichols and Meeks in Century City. During Mr. Akiva’s tenure at Pircher, he focused his efforts on real estate purchase, sale and loan transactions, as well as joint ventures and workouts.

Prior to attending law school, Mr. Akiva worked as a management consultant with Accenture and ICG Commerce, helping large businesses create better, more effective supply chains.
